EMEK at Wind Energy Hamburg 2026: From Onshore Wind Towers to offshore Energy Infrastructure
EMEK S.A. will participate in Wind Energy Hamburg 2026, the flagship international trade fair for the wind industry, taking place from 22 to 25 September 2026 in Hamburg, as part of the Enterprise Greece National Pavilion, Hall B2 up.fl., Stand B2.OG.125.3.
With more than two decades of extensive experience in wind-tower manufacturing, EMEK will present how its large-scale fabrication capabilities are being extended into offshore wind energy and complex steel infrastructure projects.
A central highlight of EMEK's presence will be MUSICA – Multiple-use-of Space for Island Clean Autonomy, an innovative European project under Horizon 2020, coordinated by the University of the Aegean with a total EU grant funding of approximately €9 million.
MUSICA is developing a multi-use floating offshore platform designed to integrate renewable energy generation and storage, desalination, and support for maritime activities. The goal of the project is to achieve energy and water independence for small islands, with a pilot application on the island of Oinousses in the Northern Aegean.
Through its participation in MUSICA, EMEK is extending its capabilities towards offshore wind energy and floating infrastructure, leveraging its extensive experience in onshore projects to deliver Greece's first floating offshore platform/wind turbine.
During the exhibition, EMEK will present its capabilities to clients, partners, and energy sector professionals, exploring new opportunities for collaboration in energy, offshore, and industrial projects.
